세계는 바야흐로 인재전쟁의 시대가 되었습니다. 단 한 명의 특출난 인재가 기업이나 국가를 살리는 시대가 되었습니다. 얼마 전에 SBS에서 특집으로 방영된'신화가 된 인재'에서 언급한 내용 중에 다음과 같은 내용이 포함되어 있었습니다.미국의 아이비리그 1,500명의 졸업생들 중에 돈을 벌기 위하여 자신의 직업을 선택한 사람은83%인 1,245명이고, 자기가 좋아하는 일을 선택한 사람은 255명 17%에 불과 하였습니다. 더욱 놀라운 것은 이들이 대학을 졸업하고 20년 후에 100만 장자가 된 사람은1,500명 중에101명이 되었습니다. 그런데 그 중에 단 한 명만이 돈을 벌기 위하여 직업을 선택한 사람이었습니다. 나머지 100명은 자신이 좋아하는 일을 선택한 사람들이였다는것입니다. 즉 255명 중 무려 39.2%가 백만장자가 되었다는 사실입니다.

The world has now entered an era of a war fortalent. Only the most talented and singular individuals lead companies and nations. Some time ago,SBS ran a special program called “Mythological Talents” that featured the following information. Asurvey of 1,500 Ivy League graduates showed that 1,245 students or 83% chose their career for themoney and only 255 or 27% chose their career because it was something they enjoyed doing. Moresurprising is that 20 years later, 101 out of the 1,500 became multi-millionaires, but only one ofthe 101 was someone who said they chose their career for money. The other 100 were graduates whostated they chose their career because they enjoyed it. This means that 39.2% of the 255 becamemultimillionaires.

GVCS is a school that was founded so that those with the passion and vision could standon the global stage to fearlessly serve God just in the way those pursuing their interest arerewarded.
